For me, this combination works really well for couples – you get the character and backdrop of the castle alongside a spacious modern venue for your ceremony and reception.

One of the standout features is the ceremony space with views towards Bennachie. It’s a pretty special backdrop for saying your vows!

Logie Country House is ideal for couples who like the idea of turning their wedding into more than just a single day.

This country house wedding venue in Aberdeenshire offers exclusive use of the entire property, meaning you and your guests can stay onsite and really celebrate for the weekend or over a few days.

From a photography perspective, there’s loads of variety here. The beautiful courtyard works perfectly for group photos and newlywed portraits and the surrounding countryside is great for a wander after the ceremony.

The estate is surrounded by woodland and open parkland which is great if you’re looking for an outdoor wedding ceremony. If your wedding vision involves a traditional Scottish castle, Cluny Castle is hard to beat.

Located just outside Inverurie, this historic castle offers exclusive use for weddings, which means the entire space becomes yours for the day! The beautiful on-site chapel is perfect for those dreaming of a church wedding, however your ceremony doesn’t have to be a religious one to be held here. From a photography perspective, it’s an incredible venue I love to work in. The historic rooms inside the castle create a dramatic atmosphere, while the surrounding grounds give couples space to step away for portraits.
